... that shouting is the solution to problems in communication? A Dutch couple recently demonstrated how it works. They were talking noisily to a German couple and started speaking louder and louder. The German couple tried to remain courteous and get away at the same time. The Dutch couple commented, "See, you really don't need to know an iota of German. You just have to speak loudly, then they get the gist of it." And to top it all, "We've been tagging along with them all week."
